Fairfax County Voters have elections every year!

​​​​​​  Our 2025 General Elections are for Virginia Governor, Lt. Governor, Virginia Attorney General and representatives to the Virginia House of Delegates.

• Early voting opens Friday, September 19th and ends Saturday, November 1st.

  • If you are on the permanent absentee ballot application list (PABAL), the Office of Elections will start mailing those ballots on September 19th.​

• Deadline to register to vote is Tuesday, October 24th. After the deadline, voters can use same-day registration and cast a provisional ballot.

• Deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail​ is 5pm, Friday, October 24th.

• Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th, 2025. Voters must vote at their assigned precinct polling place. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
